Dr. Ajay Varun Reddy is a surgical oncologist practicing in Hyderabad, India. He is currently - Consultant Surgical Oncology at AIG Hospitals (Unit of Asian Institute of Gastroenterology), Hyderabad. He is also honorary consultant at Cancer Clinics (Cipher Oncology) division at STAR Hospitals and Aster-Prime Hospitals. He is the co-founder and managing trustee of CAARYA Cancer Care Foundation - an organization involved in helping cancer patients & survivors with getting the right information and providing them access to experts in the field.

Dr. Ajay Varun Reddy has over 10 years experience in surgical departments at leading hospitals in India. Following his initial general surgical training, he completed superspeciality in advanced surgical oncology (including thoracic, gastrointestinal and gynecologic oncology) at the prestigious and world renowned Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai--the largest referral center for cancer care in India.

His current field of interest is in minimally invasive thoracic oncology, GI oncology including peritoneal surface malignancies and advanced pelvic tumours. His work also involves vast experience in treating advanced gynecologic malignancies including aggressive cytoreductive surgeries, en-bloc resections for complex pediatric malignancies including retroperitoneal neuroblastomas/sarcomas and oncoplastic surgeries for breast cancer.

He completed a university accredited fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgical Oncology and Robotic Surgery.
